ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
 

Meals On Wheels Drivers:  There are current openings for volunteer meal drivers. Are you free during the lunch hour to take meals to those in your community? Please contact Bridget Maddox at 301-475-4200, ext. 1060 for more information.

Medical Adult Day Services: The Ripple Medical Adult Day Services Center in Hollywood needs volunteers to assist participants with meals and activities throughout the day. Please call 301-475-4200, ext. 1061, to find out how you can help.

Senior Centers: The Senior Centers in the county welcome any individuals that would like to volunteer their time. Many programs and classes need assistance, so find out where you can contribute! If interested call Alice Allen at 301-475-4200, ext. 1063.

L.I.F.E. Instructors:  The L.I.F.E. (Learning is ForEver) Program needs volunteers that would be willing to share their talents and interests with others in the community. Call call Alice Allen at 301-475-4200, ext. 1063. to find out more information on this great program.

Senior Aid Positions:  Part-time employment positions are occasionally available at several of the senior centers in the county through the Maryland Senior Employment Program. These are training positions that the state offers for those 55 years or older. Financial guidelines must be met. Contact Kathy Mather at 301-475-4200, ext. 1072 for more information regarding these opportunities and financial qualifications.
