The St. Mary's County Treasurer's Office is dedicated to providing excellent customer service to its citizens, while providing timely and accurate financial information to the public and to the St. Mary's County Commissioners. The primary function and duty of the St. Mary's County Treasurer's Office is the billing and collection of real estate and personal property taxes for the State and County.  Other functions include the issuance of motor vehicle registration renewals, liquor licenses, dog tags, deed transfers, business license renewals, and conducting the annual tax sale auction. We currently do not have our tax information online.  However, we will be happy to assist you via telephone, fax or email. Counter hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The office is closed on all County recognized holidays.
