Updated information on mailing of tax bills

Welcome to the web page for the St. Mary’s County Treasurer.

The primary function and duty of the Treasurer’s Office is the billing and collection of real estate and personal property taxes, processing additions, abatements/decreases, transfers, address changes, and conducting the annual real property tax sale.

Counter hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The office is closed on all County recognized holidays.

We currently do not have our tax information online.  However, we will be happy to assist you via telephone, fax or email.  Our contact and address information is below:
