Mission Statement
"To effectively and efficiently manage
the planning and design phase services for the continued orderly development of county-
wide improvement programs."
The Engineering Services Division is responsible for the
design and project management of capital improvement projects. Staff is also responsible
for planning future transportation systems, stormwater management inspections, county GIS
mapping, roadway and bridge design, marine facilities, land acquisition, grant
administration budget estimating and post construction audits.
The staff provides technical support to the St. Mary's County
Regional Airport, Department of Faculties Management, Recreation and
Parks, and a variety of boards, commissions, committees and task forces.
