North Beach Revetment Program  STS provides a special Veterans Day Parade Shuttle Service from the County Fairgrounds to Leonardtown The St. Mary's Board of County Commissioners, Maryland Transit Administration and the DPW&T accepted eight (8) new transit buses in April 2009. The new STS buses will replace existing buses that have logged in over 4,000,000 miles of travel along their respective service routes  
In cooperation with the Army Corps of Engineers and Robra Construction, the 1,150 foot shoreline stone revetment and roadway protection project along North Patuxent Beach Road nears completion.
