The Department of
Human Services has developed a three year strategic plan to promote a
systemic approach to homelessness prevention in St. Mary's County. With
considerable input from local service providers, agencies and
faith-based organizations, the plan examines the factors leading to
homelessness in St. Mary's County, current programs in place to provide
emergency and transitional services, and what can be done to prevent
homelessness from growing in our community.
