The primary objective of Marcey House is to facilitate the recovery process from the disease of addiction through the establishment of a supportive, structural & drug-free environment, which encourages individuals to accept responsibility for their own recovery and to develop a fulfilling, productive life. Our approach is based on a "phase-in" concept.

Marcey House strives to rehabilitate the substance abuser stressing responsibility to the individual, as well as the community at large. The disease of chemical dependency without intervention promotes a downward trend which is irreversible. The program focus is to interrupt this trend and incorporate new alternatives leading toward a happy & productive lifestyle without chemical dependency.

Marcey House is a fifteen (15) bed co-ed, residential treatment facility that accommodates six (6) females and nine (9) males. The program is located on the grounds of the St. Mary's Hospital. The average length of stay for residents is about six (6) months.


Our program offers a variety of services to the resident & we have a comprehensive range of community resources & in-house services for each individual. They include:
