Continuum of Care
The
Marcey House program realizes that a continuum plan of
care is important for continued recovery. Prior to
discharge each client will have the opportunity to
participate in the development of a recovery plan to
assist them in a smooth transition to achieve ongoing
sobriety. This includes and not limited to offering
ongoing referral services to continue in treatment and
resources to meet client needs. Outreach resources will be
made available. Continuum of care linkages for all clients
will include recovery resources and regular telephone
contact by Marcey House Staff as indicated.
Aftercare
The Marcey House program realizes that an aftercare program is important for continued success in recovery. We offer aftercare to our clients prior to discharge and encourageparticipation in the development of an aftercare plan. We will assist those clients living out of the area in the development of an aftercare referral plan of their choice. Aftercare for all clients will include regular telephone contact, and correspondence by Marcey House Staff.
Family Involvement
In treatment, we acknowledge family involvement as crucial to ongoing recovery. Through family counseling, and education, we provide the opportunity for improved family communication. This process offers insight to the family disease concept.
