Gymnastic Center Office Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. & 4:30 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

* Office is closed on Wednesdays except during the 2 weeks registration of each session as well as the 1st week of classes for each session.


The Gymnastics Center is a 12,000 square foot facility with both Recreational and Competitive equipment to fully meet the needs of all gymnasts. Amenities include: one competitive tumbling floor, one recreation tumbling floor; numerous balance beams, uneven bars, vaulting apparatus, boys apparatuses, and various training equipment. It also houses a variety of equipment to entice the little ones in the Parent and Tot programs.

Parents & Tots I: 45 minutes

 

Parents & Tots II: 45 minutes

 

Tumble Tots: 45 minutes

(Ages 1-3 & walking) This program is activity-and-child-centered. The class is based on the premise that all children learn best when engaged in individual meaningful motor activities that involves action and adventure. a team-based approach is essential as parents and teachers focus on the individual child's needs in a collaborative effort.

 

(Ages 2-3) This program is activity-and-child centered. It is based on the premise that all children learn best when engaged in individual meaningful motor activities that involves action and adventure. A team-based approach is essential as parents and teachers focus on the the individual child's needs in a collaborative effort.

 

(Ages3-4) Must be fully potty trained and independent (No parent participation in class). This program focuses at the elementary stages of fundamental movement skills. This stage of development children will have the opportunity to enhance their coordinated and rhythmical performance gaining greater control over the skills being taught.

 

Kindergym: 45 minutes

 

Kartwheel Kids: 60 minutes

 

Beginner Gymnastics: 60 minutes

(Age 5) Pre-requisite: Tumble Tots.  This program focuses on the elementary stages of fundamental gymnastic skills. Students are introduced to gymnastics apparatus. All skills are taught in a developmental sequence. The class is designed to develop flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, and self-confidence.

 

 

(Ages 6 & 7) This program is specially designed for the introduction of basic fundamental skills of gymnastics on the large apparatus (i.e., vault, bars, beam, floor, mini-tramp, and trampoline.) Skills are taught in a developmental sequence so that students can develop flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, and self-confidence. Passing all skills in this class is required before advancing to the next level.

 

(Ages 8 -15) This program is specially designed for the introduction of basic fundamental skills of gymnastics on the large apparatus (i.e., vault, bars, beam, floor, mini-tramp, and trampoline.) Intermediate Gymnastics: 60 minutes

Boys Rec Gymnastics: 60 minutes

 

Cheernastics: 60 minutes

(Ages 7-15) Pre-requisite: Kartwheel Kids or Beginner Gymnastics.  Skills taught include all gymnastic apparatus; Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor, plus Dance and Trampoline. Floor skills include handstand forward roll, back bend kick-over, right & left handed cartwheel, and held handstand. Bar skills include pullovers, cast, single leg shoot thru, and toes on dismount. Beam skills include jump to demi plié, turns, and cartwheels. Vault skills include step hurdle, jump to stick landing, and punch to dive roll. All skills are taught in a developmental sequence for gymnast to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, and self-confidence. Passing all skills in this class is required before advancing to the next level.

   

(Ages 7-15) This program is designed to educate participants of basic men's gymnastics. Participants will have the opportunity to work on the pommel horse, vault, rings, high bar and floor exercises. The class will work towards improving strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(Ages 7-15) A class designed for individuals seeking power tumbling skills. The curriculum is designed to introduce and teach cartwheels, round off/round off back hand springs, standing back hand spring, back tuck, etc. Class activities include trampoline, tumble trak, and floor. Athletes will be broken into groups based on skill to allow proper progression.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Proper Gymnastics Attire

All female gymnasts registered for all Kindergym and Levels 1 thru 5 classes must wear a leotard, no skirts attached. (no specific color)

• Male gymnasts may wear shorts with an elastic waist band, t-shirts tucked in. No baggy clothing permitted.

• All attire should be free from accessories like zippers, large buttons, loose strings, and absolutely no jeans or jean shorts.

• Parent and Tot gymnast may wear warm-up suits, shorts without zippers, buttons or drawstrings, and T-shirts appropriate for gym activity.

• Parent and Tot Parents may wear comfortable attire-no dress shoes, high heels, or hiking boots, only tennis shoes please.

• ALL GYMNAST MUST HAVE BARE FEET

• No Jewelry 

• Hair secured away from face
