Come by boat! The Piney Point Light House Museum and Historic Park is also accessible by boat. The pier connects to the boardwalk that surrounds the light house grounds. The scenic riverside venue of the light house offers visitors not only an aesthetic panorama and serene escape but comfortable benches and picnic tables to accommodate an extended visit.














































HOURS OF OPERATION

March 25 to September 20
Open daily: 10 am to 5 pm

 October through December
Friday to Monday: 12 noon to 4 pm
Call for extended holiday schedule in December

Museum Closed:  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day

  • Admission: $3 adults, $2 military and senior citizens, $1.50 students 6 to 18 and children 5 and under are free.
  • Large group/student/bus tours welcome! Please make advance arrangements with the site supervisor April Havens.
  • Pier and docking facilities
  • Kayak launch available during staffed hours.
  • Museum, maritime exhibit, board walk, pier are handicap accessible.
