The Carver Recreation Center is a multi-purpose building used for a youth afterschool program, youth and adult sports, and rental events. The facility has space for workshops, meetings and holiday parties. To make a reservation or for additional information, please call (301) 475-4200 ext 1800.

THE CARVER RECREATION CENTER 21^ST CENTURY AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

Program Days:    Monday – Thursday
Program Hours:   3:00 – 6:00 pm
Grades:               K – 8^th
Cost:                  The cost is free due to funding from MSDE and the 21^st Century Community Learning Center Program.

High School students are encouraged to participate as Junior Staff Volunteers.

Activities include homework and tutoring, access to an internet connected computer lab, guest speakers, interactive projects, open gym time and much more.

RENTAL INFORMATION

Payment is due at the time of registration. Visa, Mastercard or Discover are accepted.

GYMNASIUM

Wood floor gymnasium 63’ x 88’, optional for various sport practices/games or large group functions.

CLASSROOM

Classroom style setup perfect for a wide range of smaller functions.
These rooms are 20’ x 30’ and are carpeted and equipped with tables and chairs.
