The Recreation and Parks Gymnastics Center is a USAG sanctioned facility and program. The 12,000 square foot center is fully equipped and staffed. It houses a competitive team, comprised of 65 gymnasts ranging from pre-team to level 10, and a recreational program, that averages over 500 gymnasts from 1 year of age and up. Competitive meets are offered to the team gymnasts and the recreation program is a progressive program with the opportunity to reach competitive status if desired.

Session IV Registration

Gymnastics Session IV online and walk in registration will begin at 8:00 am on Monday, March 8, 2010.   Online registration will be from Monday, March 8, 2010 – Friday, March 26, 2010.


Walk in registration will be accepted at both the gymnastics center in Lexington Park Map/Directions and the Recreation and Parks main office in Leonardtown at the Patuxent Building. Click Here for Map/Directions

 

 

 

Regular Office Hours:
 Monday – Friday 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
 Monday – Friday 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM
 Saturdays 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

LEISURE PROGRAM REFUND POLICY

˛      A full refund may be obtained if R&P changes the location, time, or date of the program which prohibits attendance; or if the department cancels the program due to insufficient registration.

˛      A full refund may be obtained if refund is requested in writing prior to the start of class in case of medical problems verified by a doctor’s certificate.

˛      A refund minus a $10.00 service charge may be obtained if the refund is requested in writing (2) working days prior to the first day of class/session.

˛      A refund of 50% of class cost may be obtained if the refund is in writing less than (2) working days prior to the start to the class/session or the registrant attends one class/session.

˛      A refund may not be obtained if registrant attends more than one class or session.

˛      No refunds may be obtained for classes that cost $10.00 or less.

˛      All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Division Manager.

Job Opportunities

The Recreation and Parks Gymnastics Center is looking for dedicated and experienced individuals to coach at the recreational and compulsory levels. We are seeking individuals with experience in cheerleading and pre-school programs as well. Anyone interested please contact the Gymnastics Center at 301-862-1462.
