December 3 through January 3 - 30th Annual Christmas Doll & Train Exhibit

The St. Clement's Island Museum presents a holiday exhibit themed "Christmas in Saint Mary’s County."
Exhibits will feature special doll collections from the Black-eyed Susan and Southern Maryland Doll Clubs. Dolls will be arranged to depict Saint Mary’s Christmas scenes through the years.

Other highlights include working miniature trains and a hands-on train set that children can operate.

The Crab Claw Museum Store will be brimming with holiday gifts and for the one who has everything, consider a Museum Gift Membership! Don't miss the Crab Pot Christmas Trees! This is one-stop-shopping at its best! Proceeds benefit museum programs, projects, and exhibits!

Admission: $3 adults, $2.00 senior citizens (62 and older) and military personnel with ID, $1.50 students 6 to 18, FREE for children 5 and under.

The museum building and grounds are handicap accessible.

December 12 St. Clement's Island Museum Christmas Open House

Saturday Dec. 12 - Free admission 12 noon to 4 p.m. See Santa and Mrs. Claus from noon to 2 p.m. COSMIC Flute Choir 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Colonist Dr. Thomas Gerrard visits at 2 p.m. Enjoy antique dolls, toys and working miniature trains. Featuring exhibits by Southern Maryland Doll Club, Black-eyed Susan Doll Club and the Hammett Family highlighting how St. Mary's County celebrated the holidays in the past and how it celebrates it today. Shop at the Crab Claw Museum Store for holiday gifts, ornaments & décor!”

The Piney Point Lighthouse, Museum & Historic Park presents a holiday exhibit you won't want to miss during the holiday season. Take a trip in our “Holiday Time Machine” and enjoy Christmas through the decades.

Admission is $7 adults, $3.50 for senior citizens (62 and older) and military personnel with ID, and students 6 to 18, FREE from children 5 and under. Admission includes the holiday exhibit, and tour of the museum, Potomac River Maritime Exhibit and Piney Point Lighthouse tower.

The museum, maritime exhibit and grounds are handicap accessible. The keeper's quarters and lighthouse tower are not.

Appraiser's Fair 2016 - St. Clement's Island Museum

Saturday, January 23, 2016

10 am-3 pm

Determine the value of your prized possessions! Appraisers for jewelry, furniture, glassware, pottery, artwork, music boxes, and coins will be available at the St. Clement’s Island Museum from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM to evaluate your antiques and collectibles. Coins and jewelry will be $5.00 for the first two items and $10.00 per additional item. Fine arts items are $5.00 per item with a two item limit. Only bring items that can be hand-carried. Space is limited and items will be viewed on a first come, first serve basis.”
