The Board of County Commissioners and the Department of Recreation and Parks are pleased to announce that the County received $5,000 from the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Maryland Chapter to assist with lighting the tennis courts at Dorsey Park. Ms. Jennifer Gregg, Assistant Executive Director, USTA Maryland, presented a ceremonial check to County staff and the Recreation and Parks Board during the R&P Board meeting of Thursday, June 3, 2010. To date, the County has received $22,500 from the USTA Maryland Chapter for improvements to tennis facilities throughout the County.
