Youth Tennis Lessons
(Ages 7-14) Learn the fundamental skills of tennis in a fun filled, game playing recreational atmosphere. Children of all skill levels can improve their tennis abilities. David Pugh, USPTA certified teaching professional leads this dynamic program. This 6 week program will also meet on Saturdays at Leonardtown High School: Ages 7-10 ~ 9:00-10:30am; ages 11-14 ~ 10:30am to noon.

Summer Youth Tennis Program
(Ages 5-17) Learn the rules, areas of the court, and etiquette of the game. Lessons are designed to quickly teach the skills of the game with the use of fun activities, games and matches. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays will focus on instruction, while Thursday will focus on games and match play. Participants will play against players of similar age and ability. Participants should bring a water bottle and racquet. Racquets will be provided if needed. Phil Weiner, USTPA teaching professional is the program director and will be assisted by current college and high school tennis players. Mr. Weiner is a former coach at St. Mary’s College. Team tennis will meet every Thursday 9-10:30am for the 5 to 9 age group and from 10am-12pm for the 10 to 16 age group at Leonardtown High School. Rained out classes can be made up by attending another session on another day at another site. Families that will be away on vacation one week can double up on another week with prior permission from the instructor.
