Development Review Forum

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 3:00 p.m. in the Department of Land Use and Growth Management Conference Room, Patuxent Building. 23150 Leonard Hall Drive, Leonardtown, MD 20650.

Purpose:  To oversee the implementation of the subdivision streamlining report as prepared by ERM; to investigate additional subdivision and development review process; to establish review time targets and evaluating agency performance in meeting those targets; to serve as a forum to review concerns and new needs through time; and to report annually to the Board of County Commissioners on progress and additional recommendations for improvements.

Composition:  Membership shall consist of the following:

• Residential building industry

• Commercial development industry

• Surveying/land planning industry

• Agricultural community

• At least one County citizen without a direct tie to the development  industry or agency/board in said business

• Director of the Department of Planning and Zoning

• Director of Public Works

• Director of Environmental Health

• Metcom

• Soil Conservation

• SMECO
