Human Relations Commission

Meetings are held the first Wednesday, 5:00 p.m., Rm.  14, Potomac Building (former Governmental Ctr.),  23115 Leonard Hall Drive, Leonardtown, MD.

Purpose:  The purpose of the Commission is "to encourage and ensure equal treatment to all, without regard to race, color, religion, ethical or moral conviction, ancestry or national origin, sex, age, marital status or physical or mental handicap, in compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws or regulations in the areas of housing, employment and public accommodations."

Composition:  No fewer than 11

Tenure:  Two consecutive 4-year terms (8 years)
