Southern Maryland Resource Conservation and Development Board

Meetings are held quarterly, starting in January, on the third Thursday, 7:00 p.m., RC&D Office in Waldorf, 303 Post Office Road, Waldorf, MD 20602.

Purpose: To assist in the improvement of use of resources in the tri-county area such as land use and treatment within the capabilities of the soil and to assist in the protection of agricultural resources arid critical natural resources.

Composition: 18 members St. Mary's County appoints one member and one alternate; one appointment from Tri-County Council TCC alternate.

Tenure: Two consecutive staggered three year terms (6)
