BOCA Code Appeals Board

Meetings are held on an as needed basis, with locations and times to be determined when announced.

Purpose: To hear citizen's appeals of the code official decisions. Over the years since it's creation, the purpose of the Board has been expanded to include review of the updated building codes as they are published. It has been the Board's responsibility to review these codes, propose local amendments to the codes, and make recommendations to the County Commissioners as to their adoption.

Composition: Five members

Tenure: Two consecutive 5-year terms (10 years)
