Public Guardianship
The Director of the Department of Aging & Human Services and the Home and Community Based-Services Division Manager of the St. Mary’s County Department of Aging & Human Services serve as the court appointed guardian of person’s 65 years of age and older who are incapacitated to act on their behalf and for whom no other person is willing or able to serve as their guardian.
