The Broadway sensation looks at what happened in the Land of Oz… from a different angle. Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another young woman, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships… until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.” Join Kathy Creswell, Program Specialist at the Garvey Senior Activity Center, for an exciting trip to The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The cost of the tickets includes transportation, gratuities, snacks during your ride and your ticket to the show. Lunch will be at your own cost. A quick service café is available at the Kennedy Center or you are welcome to bring a bagged lunch to eat on the way. The performance will begin at 1:30 p.m. Refund requests due to participant cancelations made prior to date of departure are subject to review. If you have any questions or concerns please Kathy Creswell at 301-475-4200, ext. 1062, to learn more.
